Tadoba is derived from the name of Tribal God "Taaru" who is believed to have died in a mythological encounter with a Tiger on the banks of Tadoba lake. "Vann" is a Hindi word which means "Forest". Welcome to The Forest of Tadoba — welcome to Taaru Vann.
Taaru Vann is a Jungle lodge near Kolara gate of Central India's biggest and world famous Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, India.
